“Scientists believe aluminum salts found in antiperspirants could heighten breast cancer risk,” opened an article this week from a major media health ‘news’ provider.
This writer has been teaching the above for decades and receiving much scorn for that from mainstream sources (government, medical and media).
As recently as last summer USA Today reported the above premise to be a false one. It reported that neither the National Cancer Institute (NCI) or Food and Drug Administration (FDA) “found any link between antiperspirants, deodorants and breast cancer. The institute has singled out this notion in an online fact sheet of ‘cancer myths’.”
Yet the “online fact sheet” of NCI in fact lists links with several science journal citations for any that bothered to check.
They can’t keep their facts/lies straight within that unholy trinity of BIG Government, BIG Pharma and BIG Media.
Untold suffering and death
The pains and fatalities that have resulted from people waiting upon the mainstream sources to catch up with truth cannot be counted.
This writer and others have been warning about margarine use as well as the use of hydrogenated oils for decades. Then ‘suddenly’ the mainstream sources reported that old news as new ‘news’ a few years ago as though it were newly discovered information.
The trans fats found in abundance throughout margarines and hydrogenated oils are now universally criticized. Still, the government is only very slowly regulating these non-nutritive, toxic substances out of processed foods. The only purpose they serve is profit$ for industries that are beholden to the unholy trinity noted above.
“For the love of money is the root of all evil,” the Scriptures note. That same section of Scripture sums up this point with an admonition to avoid “oppositions from science falsely so called”.
Meanwhile back at the branch
The FDA is a regulatory branch of BIG Government currently “in the news” for permitting BIG Pharma to rush to market untold numbers of drugs without full safety and effectiveness protocols being followed in hundreds of instances. BIG Media by way of AP (Associated Press or Associated Propaganda?) reported that “drug companies are taking this thing seriously” citing an FDA source.
The process is one by which BIG Government is promised continuing studies by BIG Pharma though two thirds of those have not even started – though BIG Media chimes in that things are improving according to the most recent report on this matter that is issued annually.
Seriously
The number of pending studies decreased from 812 to 797 in one year. At that rate it will take 54 years to catch up. Are they serious? Most drugs are removed or replaced in the marketplace in 20 years or less.
The only thing that BIG Pharma drug companies are taking seriously about this is advantage while their cohorts in BIG Government and BIG Media support this charade.
